Hello peeps..!! Long time no see.. haha.. It has been a while I guess..

Our topic today is ANTCONC.. What..?? Yes.. ANTCONT..

According to Uncle Google.. of course u know what google are..:p  AntConc is a UNICODE compliant freeware

CONCORDANCE program. AntConc can generate KIWIC concordance lines and concordance distribution plots.

So.. I assume dear readers are now know what is AntConc now..:)

CONCORDANCE

What..?? Concordance..?? haha.. simple..~~ Concordance is an alphabetical list of the principal words used in a

book or body of work, with their immediate contexts.

Don not know How to Use It? hehe.. Let me share with you..

STEP 1

Download the SOFTWARE. Here is the link. http://www.antlab.sci.waseda.ac.jp/software/antconc3.2.4w.exe

Next.. You need to open the file antconc3.0.1.exe.

STEP 2.

Click on “file, open.”

STEP 3

I have opened a corpus text file called “i have a dream.txt” by double clicking on the file. The file name appears in the left-hand window. *Corpus, is a long-text file that used in antconc to analyze it.

STEP 4

You can start to analyse the Concordance, Concordance Plot, File View, Clusters, Collocates, Word List, and Keyword List.

STEP 5

After I choose the items,I keyed “enter” on my keyboard to build the concordance , word list or another items. (You can also click on “start.”)
